Project features: PSD design conversion to XHTML/CSS website, using XHTML (Strict)/CSS markup under SEO semantic coding. Tableless, CSS-based, hand-coded, SEO optimized XHTML production. IE6, IE7, Firefox, Opera compatible. Compatible with Mac OSX Safari. Commented and shorthand CSS. Optimized images for fast-loading. Plus, PHP-based simple image gallery.

Orchard Legal Marketing is a small Chicago-based personal injury law firm. The initial project is to develop home pages (landing pages) for the 8 domains they own using a common template for each site, but with different graphics and color scheme. Template should also include ‘quick contact’ form. Client also requested to provide hosting service for the web sites, setting up the e-mail accounts, and submitting the domains for registration with the search engines.

Project features: Complete website design including graphics design/layout and page programming for the main landing page + 2 secondary pages.

Tools/Software used: Photoshop, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver. Webpages developed using XHTML/CSS and PHP.
